About Fanoos Coffee
Coffee as it was meant to be: intentional, meaningful, and shared.
A story-driven coffee brand built to honor small farms, careful craft, and the ritual of coffee.
What we believe
Fanoos Coffee is built on the belief that coffee is more than a commodity.
It is a ritual. A responsibility. A connection between people, land, and time.
Our work begins with small farmers across the Middle East and Ethiopia, growers whose coffees are deeply expressive, yet often overlooked by the global market. These are farms rooted in care, not scale. Fanoos is tradition, not trends.
Fanoos exists to give these coffee beans the light they deserve.
A commitment to small farms
At heart, Fanoos has a deliberate choice:
to work with farmers who grow exceptional coffee but lack access to fair markets, modern logistics, or global visibility.
This includes a small family farm in Yemen, where coffee has been cultivated for generations, not for fame or volume, but for sustenance, pride, and community. Like many farms in the region, it’s reach is local. It’s impact is personal.
Rather than treating this as a limitation, we see it as our responsibility.
Fanoos handles the sourcing, shipping, roasting, and storytelling, ensuring these coffees reach the world with integrity, and that the farmers behind them are compensated fairly for their work.
From origin to cup, with intention
Every step of our process is handled with care:
• Ethically sourced green coffee
• Transparent logistics
• Small-batch roasting in San Francisco
• Blends and roasts designed to honor origin, not mask it
We don’t chase volume.
We focus on clarity, balance, and respect for the bean.
Each coffee we release is a reflection of the people behind it, and the land it comes from.
Why “Fanoos”
Fanoos in Arabic means lantern.
It represents warmth, guidance, and shared moments, a light that brings people together when they need it most.
For us, it reflects what coffee has always been, a quiet ritual, a point of gathering, and something meant to be shared across generations.
The Founder
Fanoos Coffee was founded by Elias Aldubaie, a San Francisco native whose approach to coffee is grounded in discipline, care, and respect for origin.
Elias leads the brand with a hands-on presence, overseeing quality, process, and direction across every stage of the work. His focus is on maintaining clarity in the cup, integrity in sourcing decisions, and consistency in how Fanoos shows up for partners and communities.
At its core, his role is to ensure that the values behind the coffee are upheld, quietly, carefully, and without compromise.
With over 500 events served, Fanoos Coffee has become a trusted partner for corporate teams, wedding venues, and community organizations throughout the Bay Area.
We’re proud to serve clients such as OpenAI, Spark Social SF, Bon Appétit Management Company, Compass Group, and the San Francisco Coffee Festival, along with dozens of private event planners and wedding coordinators who trust us to elevate their guest experience.
From intimate celebrations to high-volume corporate activations, our focus remains the same:
exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and unforgettable coffee.
Trusted across the Bay Area
Fanoos Coffee is not about scale for scale’s sake.
It’s about doing the work others overlook, carefully, respectfully, and with intention.
This is how we honor the farmers behind the coffee.
